After School Program
Hope for Harvest’s free After-School Enrichment Program focuses on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math), creative arts, and recreational learning. Focused on helping children who lack access to equal educational resources, our program promotes academic success, self-confidence, and personal growth. We provide tutoring and mentorship through our structured Active Tutoring and After-School Support Program, helping bridge the educational gap in our community.

Summer Enrichment Camp
Each year, we host a free 8-week Summer Enrichment Camp that offers daily access to STEAM learning, literacy support, athletics, and social-emotional development. In partnership with the We The Best Foundation. Our camp also includes free breakfast, lunch, and snacks, as well as off-site field trips to local businesses, museums, and pools. Campers mentors, and special guests who host workshops throughout the summer, helping them build confidence, discover their talents, and create lifelong memories.
Community Wellness Events
Our monthly community events focus on wellness, connection, and basic needs. We host free yoga classes, open gym basketball and volleyball, vision board parties and Community Days where we distribute food, clothing, hygiene kits, and other essential supplies to families in need.
Community Work Program
We provide short-term paid work opportunities for men and women from local shelters, helping with painting, landscaping, trash removal, and more around our centers. This program offers meaningful work, supports community reintegration, and helps maintain clean, welcoming spaces for our youth and families.
Hope for the Holidays
Our Hope for the Holidays initiative supports families in need through two impactful programs. The Annual Thanksgiving Giveback Weekend serves over 500 children and families living in shelters, group homes, or facing hardship. It begins with a community event featuring music and entertainment and concludes with a meal distribution and hygiene kit giveaway.
The Winter Wishes program connects children with sponsors who fulfill personalized holiday wishlists. The program also includes a holiday party where the community comes together to receive winter coats, essential items, and enjoy festive activities to brighten their holiday season.
Clothing Pantry
Our free Clothing Pantry is open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m, offering clothing for all ages to anyone in need. Special requests can also be accommodated outside of regular hours with advance notice, ensuring every individual can access what they need.
Rooted in legacy and fueled by vision, Hope For Harvest continues to break cycles, build futures, and carry forward the legacy of heart, hustle, and impact that Pastor Barbara Brewton began decades ago.
