Roland Jack



Roland E. Jack was born and raised in Houston, TX where he attended High School for the Performing and Visual Arts. In 1999 Mr. Jack moved to New Orleans, LA to attend Dillard University where he obtained a degree in music business. In 2002 Mr. Jack was hired as the youngest contract administrator for the Essence Music and Jazz and Heritage Festivals. After teaching at his Alma Mater and working for two of the biggest music festivals in New Orleans, Roland branched out and Co-founded his own management company, Safe Haven Management, a boutique management firm where he represented artists such as Ted Winn and Daryl Coley, and where he currently represents Lisa Knowles-Smith, Anita Wilson, and Ledisi. In addition to managing artists, Roland prioritizes mentorship and philanthropy by hosting “Roland’s Round Table,” “Chat and Chew,” and “Management That Matters,” a series of educational events hosted around the nation intended to both educate and inspire upcoming vocal and performing artists as well as those working behind the scenes to ensure artist success.
