Kirsten Almeida is a New York City native now residing in Chicago, Boston, and Miami. After studying business, advertising and interior design Kirsten’s interests were drawn to the nonprofit sector. Creating, planning, and executing events for 50 to 5,000 people, Kirsten had her own production company which held events for non-profits such as the Walter Peyton Foundation, as well as working with Joe Montana, Joe Frazier, Michael Jordan, Richard Dent and Muhammad Ali. Kirsten feels the privileged have a great importance in their path to give back to those who are less fortunate.
In 2004, Kirsten married the love of her life. Her husband, Joe, is a native of Brazil and CEO of an American company. She also has two beautiful step-daughters, Theresa and Katelyn. Her family enjoys spending time in Brazil and traveling throughout the United States. Her role of wife and stepmother is rewarding and fulfilling. Most recent, her eldest stepdaughter Theresa has been accepted to a prestigious business school in Boston. Kirsten is looking forward to helping her transition into this new phase of her life. She also is supporting her youngest stepdaughter in her academic and dance studies.
Her passion for humanity and providing community the opportunity to experience life in a positive light is Kirsten’s vision. Unconditional gratefulness – It’s about changing the world one person at a time.
